What is your purpose?
Tover is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer with experience driving innovation by developing strategy, vision, process and best practices. As a key member of our executive team you will maintain and grow global revenue at continued hyper-growth rates. You lead and oversee the company’s commercial revenue growth strategy and play a critical role in developing our product and go-to-market strategies. A truly challenging and enchanting ride, and not one you need to take on solo. You coach, develop and grow a dedicated team of 40+ people. Inspiring great talent to outperform in a complex, evolving and tech-driven organization. You foster collaboration within your teams while caring out our values and keeping your eyes on the price: accelerating our global growth.

Job requirements

The TL;DR version

  • Build, lead and scale the Sales, Business Development, Customer Success and Marketing teams.
  • Build a market positioning strategy in partnership with the marketing teams based on competitive intelligence and game plan to effectively compete and win in the market.
  • Manage growth through a portfolio approach of customer segments, balancing deal size and profitability. Drive Tover to realize business growth through strategic planning and marketing execution.
  • Build and develop teams that can scale while delivering excellence; hire and develop members of the team and continue to mentor and grow the team from within.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, and develop those qualities in your management team through candidate selection, effective training, goal setting and mentorship, as well as the ability to make course corrections when needed to get an individual or team back on track.


What you bring to the Tovertafel

  • Your track record puts a spell on us: extensive experience in leading sales and marketing teams, preferably in tech-related domains.
  • You are a courageous thought leader with exceptional communication capability and extensive, proven relationship-building capabilities.
  • You have successfully grown and diversified business performance, broadened and improved the customer experience, and driven sustainable business outcomes - $20M+ P&L ownership required.
  • If you are a leader who is both humble and disruptive – relentlessly building and advocating for the customer while simultaneously listening and collaborating with teams - we will rent a magic carpet to fly you in.
  • You are fluent in English. If you know that bitter balls aren’t bitter, that would help!
