What is your purpose?
As a Brand Manager, you build global awareness for Tover in the Children with Special Needs care domain. This role is equal parts rewarding and challenging. As for the rewarding part: you contribute to our international growth while enhancing the lives of Children with Special Needs and their teachers and carers. The challenge: you develop a brand strategy whilst taking local cultures into account and support our distributors in their marketing effort to follow our brand guidelines.
On the other side we need to fill our New Product pipeline. This means you need to deploy market research (with the help of a professional agency), extract the current needs + trends and devise this into product development strategies with input that will lead to innovative ideas from the R&D team. Of note: you will be(come) the Children with Special Needs expert within Tover, alongside your counterpart in user-centered design, to bring new products geared toward this domain to the US and European markets.
The TL;DR version;
You have a passion for children’s education, and want to make a difference in nurturing development and inclusion for children with special needs.
You have your ears and eyes in the marketplace (with the help of research agencies).
You fuel R&D with these learnings to develop the most amazing new games, features and products with the best product-market fit.
You build a strong, compelling Tover brand worldwide; by developing global brand- awareness and activation campaigns.
You monitor and analyse the fluid market landscape – including competitors – to help form and optimise our strategy, positioning, and messaging.
You snuggle up to colleagues in product development and product management to share and develop insights and plans.
What you bring to the Tovertafel
5+ years’ marketing experience.
3-5 years’ experience in the (special) primary education field, preferably in roles with direct contact with teachers/ administrators or working at a company specializing in learning tools (e.g., online apps, books, games, etc.) for children.
Experience working in the US or for a US-based company (as Tover is expanding into this market and needs your expertise!).
Your track record puts a spell on us: strategising, positioning, brand building and product development is what you live and love.
You are highly inquisitive, and always in the know, thanks to your market research and data analysis prowess.
You are a confident entrepreneurial spirit who is able to deal with uncertainty.
You are fluent in English. If you know that bitter balls aren’t bitter, that would help!
You’re a self-starter who embraces autonomy and also shines in a team setting.
